My name is Upendra Jung Thapa, and my journey started from an MBBS student (2005) to an MS in Orthopaedics(2012) and now working as a consultant in my alma mater has been a fulfilling and transformative experience.

Currently working as an orthopaedic surgeon with 10+ years of experience, I have had the privilege of working with patient from diverse background addressing a wide range of musculoskeletal condition through both surgical and non-surgical approach.

Pursuing my career in a teaching hospital, currently as an Assistant professor, I have been involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in Manipal College of Medical Sciences since last 10 years.

It is a privilege to serve in a dual role as an Orthopaedic surgeon and as a teacher which can enhance my practice and deepen my understanding of orthopaedic medicine through mentorship and collaboration.
